Mouth 102mm Throttle Body™ incorporates major upgrades, including
redesigned linkage for smoother operation & improved throttle
response
When it comes to improving
your engine’s performance, increased airflow is generally a key
ingredient. The newly released FAST™ Big Mouth Throttle Body™ for the
FAST™ LSX™ 102mm Intake Manifold increases airflow through a series of
innovative design changes and a slightly enlarged throttle opening. When
used with the new FAST™ LSX™ 102mm Intake Manifold, FAST™ has put their
“manifold where their mouth is” in terms of enhanced engine performance
and drivability.
But the increased size of the
FAST™ Big Mouth Throttle Body™ is just a small part of the added
benefits. FAST™ invested significant testing and engineering resources
into optimizing cross-sectional flow and eliminating airflow turbulence,
especially at part throttle operation. In addition, these throttle
bodies offer increased throttle blade thickness to eliminate deflection
commonly found with other throttle bodies, especially those in boosted
applications. A smoother operating offset blade pivot improves throttle
response, and a beefed up linkage and dual throttle spring mechanism
ensure total throttle control. The new FAST™ Big Mouth Throttle Body™
will deliver bolt-on GM Gen III & Gen IV horsepower and maximize the
potential of performance upgrades.
