Eagle forged 4340 steel crankshafts are forged from SAE 4340 steel, feature a non-twist forging, multi-stage heat treated process, stress relieving, shot-peaning, and nitriding for superior strength and reliability is the most demanding applications. Each journal is micropolished to a 3 r.a. or better. A .125" radius is used to increase strength, so chamfered bearings must be used. These are the perfect choice for applications up to 1500 hp. Approximate weight is 53-57 lbs.

This is a limited production run from Eagle, and these specific crankshafts have the journals turned .010". so, .010" oversized bearings will be required. These crankshafts are only offered with a 24x reluctor wheel from Eagle, but we can sell them with a 58x reluctor wheel installed for an additional $50!
