Common complaints with factory LS clutches are an uneven pedal feel that is harder at the top and drops off significantly at the bottom of the pedal, high pedal engagement, and the diaphragm ‘sticking down’ at higher RPM. With this in mind, RAM designed a clutch system that incorporates a lighter pedal effort, higher clamp load pressure plate that provides a smooth, consistent pedal feel all the way down without over centering upon release. Coupled with a premium organic clutch disc using a helix hub center section with double springs, durability and holding power are greatly increased along with eliminating annoying transmission ‘gear rattle’ that can occur with performance clutch hubs.

RAM heavy duty LS sets are designed for use with a flat LS series flywheel, which is also available in both steel and aluminum. Bolt pattern is 10mm for use with dowel pins. Torque capacity is rated up to 550 ft/lbs. The heavy duty systems are priced right to compete with factory ‘LS7’ replacement clutch systems. This is the only LS-specific clutch on the market that will offer stock-like driveability!
